Re:Celebrate is a zine focused on DRAMAtical Murder’s 15th Anniversary! March 23rd, 2027 marks the 15th year since DMMD’s release in Japan. This zine aims to showcase art and writing highlighting the diverse characters, locations, and narrative of DRAMAtical Murder.
About
This zine will be a fully FREE, DIGITAL, OPEN-ENTRY project. We will be accepting all contributors who apply throughout our application period, or until we reach the maximum number of contributors we can onboard.Considering the content warnings of the game itself, NSFW content is allowed in this project. Our Interest Check results will help us determine whether NSFW content will be divided into a second separate PDF. Please view the project at your own discretion.

Contributor Signups
This project will be accepting all contributors who sign up within our signup period (capped at 40 page artists, 8 digital merch artists, and 10 writers for formatting purposes), as long as you abide by our rules and guidelines! All contributors MUST be 18+ at the time of applying - this is non-negotiable.During the contributor sign process, a few things will be asked of you. Please remember to provide all requested samples, and if using Google Drive, to set link sharing to “on”. If we cannot access your work, we may disqualify your application, so please double check everything is completed on your form!
Artists & Merch Artists
We will require of you:
A link to a small portfolio of your work, with at least 3 completed pieces in it; this can be in the form of a Google Drive link, website where you upload your art (DeviantArt, ArtStation, ToyHouse, etc.), an accessible media tab on socials accounts, your own website, etc.; as long as we have access to view what’s inside!
At least one pitch of what you would like to portray in the zine. The more detail the better! These will be the pitches that we will accept and assign you to work on as your zine piece.
A link to at least 1 of your social media accounts.
Writers
We will require of you:
A link to a small portfolio of your work, with at least 3 completed pieces in it; this can be in the form of a Google Drive link, website where you upload your writing (e.g. AO3, Fanfiction.net) etc.; as long as we have access to view what’s inside! There is no minimum or maximum word count limit, just as long as we can see what you create!
At least one pitch of what you would like to portray in the zine. The more detail the better! These will be the pitches that we will accept and assign you to work on as your zine piece.
A link to at least 1 of your social media accounts.
Contributor Guidelines
We ask our contributors to adhere to our schedule and work to the best of their ability! Of course, we understand that life happens, in which case we will be more than happy to grant you extensions should you ask in advance.
General Expectations
• Be polite and considerate to your fellow contributors and the mods; any inappropriate behaviour will not be allowed and may result in your ejection from the project.
• Do not engage in hateful conduct. We will not tolerate any kind of bigotry: racism, transphobia, ableism, etc. and this will result in rejection/dismissal from the project.
• Have a Discord account, or be willing to make one for all communication.
Keep us in the loop: turn in check-ins on time, or ask for extensions at least 24 hours in advance. If you ghost the project, we will have to forfeit your position in the zine.Contributing
• Contribute 1 full piece that adheres to your accepted pitch.
• Our mods will provide feedback at checkins and prior to the final submissions, but you are more than welcome to ask for feedback at any part of the process!
FAQ
Is there an age limit to apply?
Yes, all contributors must be 18 or older at the time of applying. This rule is 100% non-negotiable. Any applicants/contributors found to be in breach of this rule will be removed from the project.Will there be merch?
We hope so! As this is a fully digital project, any merch will be digital only. (Wallpapers, printables, emotes, etc.) No physical items will be produced or shipped for this project.Will this zine feature alternate media art?
We hope so! Content creators of any kind are welcome to apply.Is NSFW content allowed?
Yes, considering the content of the game. Interest Check results will determine whether we present the final zine as A.) one PDF with NSFW content towards the end of the zine, or B.) two zine PDFs with SFW and NSFW content separated completely.Mods would like to encourage contributors to think of pitches exploring all elements of the game, not exclusively the NSFW portions. The DMMD world is vast, and Re:Celebrate hopes to spotlight the characters, settings, and lore that we see beyond just the H-scenes! We’re hoping to have a nice balance of SFW and NSFW pieces in the project.Why do you have a cap on contributor count?
Formatting and organizational purposes. We can only realistically provide feedback to so many contributors. We’ve chosen maximum headcount numbers that, if reached, are realistic for us as mods to be able to support - however, it is our hope that we will not have to turn anyone away, so these internal numbers are not concrete. We’ll remain flexible during applications!Are non-canon ships allowed in the zine? (ex. Noiz x Koujaku)
Dependent on the results of our Interest Check.Are characters from other Nitro+Chiral titles allowed in the zine?
No, we are keeping the focus on DMMD only, as this is an anniversary themed project.Are genderbent GL/yuri versions of characters allowed?
No - while we appreciate other headcanons of characters, we would like this zine to spotlight the themes of M/M relationships that the series is known for.Can I apply as a pinch hitter?
No, we will not be having pinch hitters for this project.Can I apply for more than one contributing role?
